FHDA Faculty & Staff for Justice in Palestine

We are a collective of Faculty and Staff at Foothill and DeAnza Community Colleges who support the cause of Palestinian liberation. We define faculty and staff broadly according to AAUP guidelines to include all those involved in creating the teaching and learning environments.

Global Solidarity

As community college faculty and staff, FHDA FJP is committed to justice and equity. We stand in unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for liberation from Israeli occupation. We recognize the systemic injustices, human rights violations, and violent displacement endured by Palestinians for generations by the illegal Israeli occupation.

Advocacy & Activism

As community college faculty and staff, FHDA FJP supports and endorses the principles of BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions). As faculty, academic and cultural boycotts of Israeli institutions as outlined by PACBI and divestment in relation to college endowments and retirement funds are most relevant.

Student Support

FHDA FJP supports and amplifies the work of DeAnza SJP and Foothill SJP and other student groups struggling for Palestinian liberation. We stand behind the work our students are doing to bring the struggle for Palestinian liberation to the students, faculty and staff at each campus.
